HONG KONG VOYAGE TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED (香港乘舟科技有限公司, “Voyage Technology”, “we”, “us”) is a company based in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. We operate the website hkvoyagetech.com and develop and publish mobile applications distributed through the Apple App Store.
Scope
This policy applies to this website and to the mobile applications we publish, unless an application provides its own privacy policy, in which case that policy applies to the application. Data practices specific to each application are also summarized in its App Store privacy details.
Information collected through this website
This website is informational. It does not require registration, does not collect payment information and does not store the content of messages you compose on the contact page. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical logs, which can include:
- IP address and approximate region
- Browser type, device type and operating system
- Referring page and pages visited
- Date and time of access
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message.
Information processed by our applications
Our applications are designed to collect only the information required for their features to work. Depending on the application and the features you use, this may include:
- Technical and diagnostic data, such as device model, operating system version and crash reports, used to keep the application stable
- Aggregated usage data, used to understand how features perform and to improve the application
- Purchase status for optional paid features; payments are processed by Apple, and we do not receive your full payment card details

Where an application requests access to device permissions such as photos, camera or notifications, it does so only to provide the related feature, and you can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

In line with the App Store refund policy, when you request a refund for a subscription purchased in one of our apps, our server receives a consumption information request (CONSUMPTION_REQUEST) from Apple. In that case, we provide Apple with data related to your subscription to help Apple make a decision on the refund request.
The data we provide is strictly limited to subscription-related consumption information and does not include any personal or sensitive data. We are committed to complying with Apple's requirements and to ensuring that all such data processing fully adheres to applicable privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
By using our apps, you consent to the transmission of your subscription consumption data to Apple where this is required to process a refund request in accordance with the App Store refund policy.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong, you may request access to, or correction of, personal data we hold about you, and you may ask us to delete it. To make a request, please contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children's privacy
Our website and applications are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International processing
